1. Soil fertility mapping of Dry savannah zone of Togo

Increasing agricultural productivity and therefore the production requires a good knowledge of the soil fertility status and a sustainable nutrients management. The objective of this study is to map spatial distribution of some selected soil fertility parameters in the dry savannah agro-ecological zone that covers the regions of Savanes and Kara in Togo. Soil fertility parameters such as pH, available phosphorus (P), exchangeable potassium (K) and organic matter were determined in soil samples... K.K. Ganyo, K.A. Ablede , K. Koudjega, S. Ani, K. 2. Self-developed Small Robot for Tomato Plants Detection

A mobile (robot) measuring station for tomato plant detection has been developed, equipped with different sensors and a self-developed hardware and software background. The development aims are the applications in precision crop production: artificial intelligence- based detection, imaging, data collection, automation, and remote sensing. The robot is fault- free in field conditions and is therefore a key development tool for precision farming and digital agriculture. The measurement system developed... B. Ambrus, G. Teschner, M. 3. Smart Agriculture As a Tool to Face Climate Change Negative Impacts on Egyptian Agriculture

It is well known and frequently reported that the developing countries are not responsible on most of the greenhouse gas emissions, while the industrial countries are. In the meanwhile, climate change impact is reported to be more severe on the south latitudes than on the north. The impact of climate change on agriculture south of Mediterranean are:  Increase in temperature that affect plant growth and planting dates of crops Increased temperature will increase... A.
