Nominations:

Please provide the name of the individual you would like to nominate for each Board position listed. Self nominations are accepted. You can add any supporting information about the candidate in the box provided or attach the nominee's CV.

Important Notes:

Nominees should be a registered member of AAPA. Membership is freely available through our registration webpage at https://www.paafrica.org/membership/registration

Given multiple nominees for a position, two persons will be selected to participate in an election by members.

Responsibilities
President-Elect Responsibilities:
  • Assist President of AAPA as requested.
  • Responsible for publishing the quarterly AAPA e-newsletter.
  • Responsible for periodic updates to the AAPA website to keep it current.
  • Term of office, two years.
  • Moves automatically to the position of President at the end of the two-year term.

Responsibilities
Regional Representative Responsibilities:
  • Contribute a minimum of one article per year to the quarterly AAPA e-newsletter.
  • Provide regional content for the AAPA website.
  • Identify and regularly engage country reps within region.
  • Organize and host one regional AAPA event during term.
  • Term of office, two years; May be re-elected once for a total term of four years.

  • Southern Africa – Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
  • West Africa – Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo
